About Paz y Esperanza

Paz y Esperanza (“Peace and Hope”) is a civil association from the evangelical-protestant community of Peru. Our organization contributes to the transformation of people and society by working toward the achievement of a quality of life for everyone that corresponds with God’s intentions.

Our work focuses on the promotion of justice and the development of the poor.

Paz y Esperanza was founded on January 19, 1996, by a group of professionals, pastors, and members of various evangelical churches. We have ample experience in caring for the victims of political violence and injustice, prison ministries, human rights education, the promotion of sexual health, and political advocacy.

As an organization and individually, we are inspired by Christian principles, as well as the Church’s conviction of social responsibility toward our country.
